I'm back!

Alright so I've been neglecting this poor little blog for the last few weeks. At first I forgot, and then I procrastinated. So I'm sorry, blog! And I'm sorry any readers who have visited for the last few weeks, expecting to read up on literary happenings and coming to a barren, empty, desert.

BUT

I'm back! And I will be back to normal, to one or two posts a week. In my world of books, I've finished Anna Karenina (my new favorite! Swoon!), read through the Little Prince for probably the fifth time this year, and I am now working my way through the Scarlet Letter.

What have you been reading?

(photo of the return of the Mona Lisa to the Louvre after the war, Paris, 1945, via Vic. Doesn't it give you goosebumps?)

  1. Yay! Dani's back!!! :)

Unfortunately all I've been reading recently is
Underwood's General and Systematic Pathology - a pathology textbook that is so enormous and heavy that it actually broke my bag when I took it to university!

  2. I just finished reading "Eats, Shoots & Leaves", and I've been reading "History In The Making", "The Unusual Union of Jonathan and Sarah Edwards", and "Breakthrough Prayer". First three books mentioned for summer reading, and the last for pleasure :)

Matthew- Those sound like pretty interesting books!

  4. "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" actually was. I'm actually thinking about buying her other book "Talk to the Hand". "History in the Making" isn't half bad, and "The Unusual Union of Jonathan and Sarah Edwards" is just unique. Just finished "Breakthrough Prayer" and it was amazing. I would recommend any books by Jim Cymbala :)

  5. If you're interested in books about grammar (as "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" seems to be) you should check out "On Writing Well". Completely blew my mind on how the English language works. I'll keep an eye out for some of those books!
